Dancing vs. Sofa
Summarizing my dancing experience, I wondered what kind of people come to dance. What do they do in everyday life. According to the experience of my friends, as well as the results of the polls, the average male salsa is either an IT specialist or an office employee (engineer, accountant, lawyer, manager). The average salsa fairy is also an office employee. Those. Dancers are people with an established lifestyle, an 8-hour working day and, for various reasons, abandoned the sofa in favor of dancing.
Recently, I often meet my classmates, classmates and just acquaintances. As it turned out, most of them follow my dance life in social networks, we are happy about my success. They admire the photographs and wonder how I have enough to go somewhere else after work. I understand that each work, including office work, since we are talking about it, has its own specifics. And a person can get tired in different ways, some more, some less. I’m not talking about people who enjoy their work. For the most part, people regard work as a “commitment” necessary for existence. They get very tired of the fact that they do not receive satisfaction from their activities. There are many ways out of this situation. The most extreme ones sound something like this – “drop everything and live for your pleasure”, “drop everything and live on Goa”, etc. But there is a way that does not require such victims (including material and social), but requires courage and a share of perseverance. This is an opportunity to spend time after work at your pleasure and with benefit.
The excuse “I’m tired at work” stops working exactly when a fire appears in my eyes, and in a known place – an awl. Remember how at school or institute you were waiting for the end of classes and ran for a date. How could they walk the night overnight, and then go to classes again. You will say “age is not the same.” Yes, I agree, age imposes certain restrictions, but rather an emotional one. It seems to us solid to run through puddles and blow bubbles (figuratively). So with any hobby. It often seems to us that it’s too late to start. But the matter is no longer in age, but in the absence of inspiration. We forgot how to be inspired and look for joy in the little things.
I turn now to my classmates, classmates and acquaintances. I want to say that everything is in your hands! You yourself build your life and in your power to make it brighter! Come to open classes and master classes and listen to yourself. I don’t think dancing is for everyone. Dancing is for those who are ready to change the sofa and let new people into their lives, new emotions and accept a new self. And as a bonus, get a toned body (pulled by sedentary work) and can find your destiny or family happiness (there are such stories).
I just warn you, being happy from your favorite business is addictive!
