First: Why are You dancing? Whatever the reason, don’t let anyone destroy the joy you feel from dancing, even if You don’t agree with what they say.

There are certain mistakes that almost every student makes, whether a beginner or an advanced dancer. Some bugs wait at certain levels of development of dancers, some “errors” occur simply because of lack of equipment. But there are those that inhibit Your development, no matter what Your dance level, no matter how Technical you are. (“What do you need to do to become a good dancer?”)
1. The urge to do too fast
When we move at the speed we are used to, our movements are performed automatically. And we cannot change what we intend to do differently. Especially when we’re working on the details, we have to do it slowly, much slower than we think. Reduce the speed by half, and then do it again. If it looks like slow motion, it’s all right.
